Safe On Pump Gas High boost Rate Topic: -----

Is it safe to run 16 lbs boost on pump gas???.. how about 18 lbs, teh higehst i can get is 91 here, unless i wanna buy 100 oct which is 6$ gallon... any ideas

The only way to correctly answer this question since there are so many variables, is by watching your A/F gauge & have someone with a good ear listen for detonaion under WOT.

ok, according to my air fuel ration im reading ricjh, all the bars are lit.. so thats good right.. and i dont hear anything except for teh turbo spinning, what kind of sound should i listen for????..

not at this time...but my air fuel meter reads full rich.. so i keept raising it 1 lb at a time.. is that bad, i have all 10 bars lit at WOT... unless the owner before me put bigger injectoers..

I see, I'm running 14psi now and mine is running very rich as well.

how are you preventing overboost? Zener, G-valve????

the one from dawes device, where you turn the nob.. hgooked up next to the map sensor, not the zener diode. so far its working great :D

Usuallyfor detonation listen for a quiet machine gun sound, if you know what pinging sounds like listen for that.
