i have chrysler sebring 2001. 2.7 engine. this car doesnt start intime and i took it to the mechanic. the mechanic put it on the computer and code po340 comes up. he try to fix it but he couldnt do it. does anyone no how i can fix this car. please help me.

This code says either cam or possibly crank position signal missing. There could be a few things causing this code and it needs to be diagnosed. Start with a scan tool check while cranking. Is 5 volt supply present? We need more information about what you or your mechanic found.
