L, Y not a 2 door Charger?

Not bad at all. For my tastes the nose could use a little more 3rd generation. But really what I want is a good sleek looking 4 door to replace our '94 Vision. The '99 concept offered that.

Thanks. I might see if I can tweak that front some, but I'm actually kinda happy with it. When you say more 3rd gen, do you mean the top curve of the fender, overall shape, or length?

If I was drawing something else, it could have four doors, but not this :) I wasn't much of a fan of the '99 concept really. I ended up liking it more by comparison, but it really didn't do it for me either.

In your mind, how does the size of this compare to the current Challenger and Charger?



But, just for the record, I do think a wagon in this style would look cool.... I just would not want it related to the Charger in anyway.

Haha. I'm not above doing a wagon - but I agree, different name.

As far as size, I actually barely touched the Challenger - just removed the ledges out front and out back. Front, I just slid the top molded part forward and that's pretty much it. Also, if someone had to sit in the backseat, I figure there would be the same headroom as the Challenger.

Tried a different pillar approach, but I have a feeling, regardless of the huge differences in style from the ground up, it would quickly be acused of being too close to something else....

The first one looked more like a Duster than a Charger in my opinion. I really liked the second one that you posted. I bet that would even look good on the 4 door with the classic coke bottle Charger sides.

Mainly length. I've been a frequent critic of the too short front overhang on the LX's. Yours looks much better than the LX. There is just something about the overall look of a Charger that makes me want more length in front of the front wheels. Which is funny because my first car was a '65 Impala and there isn't much length in front of the front wheels on them. They had the length behind the rear seat.
