1984 Daytona turbo fault codes Rate Topic: -----

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

Does anyone know if the coil is bad if I get a fault code 43 (spark interface circuit). Thats what my Haynes manual lists it as but on this website it is listed as 43 Peak primary coil current not achieved with max dwell time
OR
43 Cylinder misfire.
The car is a 1984 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z with a 2.2 in it.
Any help would be greatly appericiated.

It's possible, but unlikely that the coil is bad. First suspect would be the spark plug wires. If they have more than 30,000 miles on them, change them. Same with the spark plugs.
