If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

Well I never thought the day would come that I'd have to sell my baby, but here we are. :(

I'm in Morgantown, WV. Being a small town and being that this is WV, I'm sure there's no such thing as having a car shipped from here. So buyer would be responsible for coming & getting it. If you're out of town, which you most likely are, you better be able to tow it home. It runs, but not very well.

What's new:
New engine Jan '04, 13k miles on it
New transmission Mar '08, not even 500 miles on it yet
New starter & all new suspension parts Mar '08
Has snow tires, bought in '03, but still in great shape
New steering column approx Spring/Summer '07
Last tune-up approx Spring/Summer '07

Other features:
Power windows, power locks, cruise control

What's wrong:
Some kind of accelleration problem, could be all electrical, but electrical work costs way too much here.
Smells hot like it's burning, but does not smoke (not that I've seen anyway)
Digital dashborad hasn't worked in 2 years - so no guages
Doesn't have original hatch door
Hatch door has no latch (it broke) and is held down with a little bungee cord
Driver's side rear passenger door window is off the track (you hear the motor but the window isn't on the track/in line or whatever to be moved by it)
Some kind of problem with the gas, you have to keep the tank full or it chokes up after you use a few gallons like it's not getting gas

Oh, and another thing is, I've got a lot of bumper stickers on the hatch and one on the front, top windshield. Also, the hood has some custom graphics.

Reasons to buy car:
It's the most gorgeous kind of car ever made
New engine, new transmission and all new suspension parts that you could move over to another K-car
Well, if you're fam, you'll like the custom graphics!

All in all about $7000 has been spent on new parts for this car and it's still giving me a lot of problems and I can hardly drive it a mile or two, literally. Hopefully someone out there who loves and appreciates the K-cars like I do out there will buy it. If not, maybe someone who has a car like mine is looking for major parts like a good transmission. Oh the transmission is under warranty until the same month next year through the shop here that rebuilt it. I have done EVERYTHING to repair, maintain and take care of this car. The interior is nice too. I'm a non-smoker - so there is no cigarette smell in my car.

Serious offers only please. Must be able to pick up, drive away, or haul away. I live in a place where the landlord is stalking us every day because she hates us and wants to evict us, and she will have cars towed that don't have a current sticker. The sticker expires at the end of this month and I need to sell it by then.
