I don't know if this is just me (which it might be) but I can't find any info on the new 6 speed manuals in the Rams on ALLPAR.com. I just ordered and recieved an '08 Ram 1500 regular cab short bed with the new 310 horse 4.7 and six speed manual and I was just trying to get some info on this setup. I can tell you that this new tranny is easier to engage gears in than the 5 speed it replaced because I have had both. I really am impressed with it, but not knowing specs drives me nuts!

Any help would be much appreciated. ;)

I bought a 2008 RAM short bed/regular cab 2WD with the 4.7V8. I'm having low speed drivibility issues with mine (surging/miss) ...can really notice when driving on a flat road at about 35mph in 4th gear.

Do you have this problem.
