Coolant Level Sensor 2.2 T1 Rate Topic: -----

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

Recently rebuilt head on '88 T1 LeBaron. Low Coolant Level indicator display always lit. Is this the same sensor as Coolant Temp Sensor located below thermostat.

I'm not sure, but that sucker may have a sensor at the bottom of you wiper fluid bottle. Check that. I can't remember for sure but I think on a Diamante that I had, I thought the idiot light that kept coming on was for the radiator but finally discovered by accident that it was the wiper fluid level. I topped it off and then the light went out. No wonder they call them idiot lights, huh? :lol:

It is probably a sensor (just a float switch) located in the overflow bottle for your engine coolant. That is probably a high line model with a message center. You probably have an indicator for your wiper fluid too and Chrysler even had a low oil sensor which was also a float switch in the oil pan.

This is not your engine coolant temperature sender in the t-stat housing
