Transmission Problems In A 1998 Dodge Ram irratic shifting and o/d doesnt work

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

I had my tranny rebuilt a few years ago,but hardly drove it until recently. It got to where it wouldnt shift right, you would have to let off the gas for it to shift and sometimes that would'nt work.
so i changed the tranny oil with castrol +4 and changed the filter. I wasn't for sure what fluid the mechanic put in it when it was over hauled. The oil was burnt and there was a quiet abit of shavings on the magnet. After I changed the oil it seemed to work alot better. As long as i would baby it, it would do decent shifting like it should. but once I would kinda get on it a little it wouldn't shift until I would let off the gas, then it would go ahead and shift. also the o/d light doesnt work in the dash cluster. and when I press the button back in forth it would'nt make a difference, I checked the fuses all was good. I checked for power on the switch it self and there IS NO power at the switch.... Thanks for any comments

It may help to diagnose this with a scan tool. The governor pressure tranducer and solenoid as well as the OD/lock-up converter solenoids are all electronically controlled. The PCM controls the trans on these, any codes?
