Well done hemiboy! Starting the poll is a excellent idea. Your insight, as well as other is much appreciated and duly noted. Now it’s just a matter of time to see which colors will be offered next on the Dodge Charger Daytona and what they will look like.
Again, please stay tuned to the dodge.com/charger website for future updates. As soon as more information is released it will surely be posted their.

MoparMantis - your suggestion was also noted and I will be sure to pass it forward.

Thank guys for all your feedback.

I’ll be around…

Has anybody else felt the power of the new 2006 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T or the Dodge Charger SRT-8 yet?

WOW!!! The Dodge Charger SRT-8 has 425 Horsepower....

Take a look at the Midwest Dodge Charger Headquarters in Highland Park, IL. in Highland Park, IL.

They said they can deliver my Charger anywhere in the US and usually without additional charges. They are advertising $99.00 over invoice on any Dodge Charger or Dodge Charger R/T right now.

I've placed a deposit for my orange Dodge Charger Daytona R/T, with a credit card so I can be sure to get one! I'm not sure how many Dodge Charger Daytona R/T's Chrysler will build, but I'm betting that they'll be hard to get.

I've driven one, and yes it is a awsome car!! And as good as the 5.7 hemi is I can only guess that the 6.1 hemi SRT-8 will be all the better!! Now if they would only make it in 2 door B)

My friend's dad works at Auburn Hills, he got to drive the SRt8, and said that he prefered that over a SRT-6 Crossfire...

One of the Dodge dealers in Dallas just got a Go-Man-Go Charger Daytona in today. It is pretty much loaded with an MSRP of $37,810 (why would you want a rear seat video player in a Daytona?). It's No. 0099 of the 4000.

I don't know how much they are asking (they were closed when I went by). But the same dealer has an SXT Charger with a dealer added $995 rear spoiler (painted body color, but otherwise the regular Charger rear spoiler) and another $995 for VIN etching. Given that the Daytona's cosmetics only costs $900 (compared to the Road and Track Performance Group), that rear spoiler looks to be priced on the high side. <_<

My wife is car shopping - last weekend I drove the 5.7 Charger, the 300C V6, the Impala SS 5.3L, among others.

The Charger blew away the Impala. While the Impala has A LOT of power, the torque-steer from a stop is flat out dangerous, and from 40mph, a WOT is still scary. The Charger was solid, fast, and accelerated in a straight line.

The 300 was surprisingly quick for a V6 in a large car, but the Nissan Maxima V6 blew it away for sheer acceleration. Also drove Buick's LaCrosse which was a quiet, soft ride with soft handling and an "adequate" powerplant.

The 300 would probably been my choice becuse of ride quality, price and 3 body trunk! :D

I've heard a rumor that Dodge will be dropping the Charger from the line up due to poor sales. I find this hard to believe but was just wondering if this could be possible. If it is, this is a very sad thing. To see a great car make a comeback only to be killed off yet again. Also when will we see a production Challenger? I am dying for a test drive.

Sometimes I think Chryco tries to outhink itself. How many "family sized" cars does the market need with Hemi's in 'em? IMHO the Carger is sized like a family car, right along with the Magnum and 300.

Make ONE body style into the raped-ape category; do a coupe and a convertible or better yet a retractable, and put the badest powerplant availble in it. Sort of like a new Viper for the masses!

This was supposedly heard on a morning radio program by a friend. I was just looking for a little clarification.

I heard the Magnum might be canceled, not the Charger.
