Dodge's Challenger Survey

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

Sorry if this is a repost, but it's interesting none the less.

I voted for the 425hp with MANUAL ONLY! Don't let DCX think they can get away with their WA580 Autostick in the Challenger, we need a manual option!

I want a manual-matic option... Why wasn't that listed as a choice? <_<

I think manual should be standard with an auto as an option.

Lets also try to convince them to keep the price down. We all wont be able to afford an SRT8 with the 6.1H & 6sp. The 3.7V6-auto will likely be the standard-entry, but how about something in the middle, like a 4.7V8 with a 5sp manual from a 2WD Dakota, but using car-ratio gears. Maybe upgradeable to a 4.7HO or a 5.7H.

Those 20/21" wheels are not neccesary either. I cant even imagine what replacement tires might cost.
Retro-styled 16"s would be fine. Running maybe 235/60's all around.

And dump the digital cluster (about $2000 to replace when it burns-out after the warranty) for retro SW-style, blackface analog gauges with chrome bezels.

And go with a more Hurst-looking pistol grip. The one they're using looks too much like a B&M rachet shifter.

And put the car on a diet, no way it should weigh 4100 like the concept does.

I just did the survey, I checked the box that said that I would not buy a challenger that was auto only, I want a modern muscle car since I was never able to own one of the old ones

They'll count my vote for 425 hp manual for sure - not so fussed on 5 or 6 speed but they won't get my money for an automatic that's for sure.
