Any Guesses On Exhaust Problem?

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

my shelby is giving me fits now in the way of an odd exhaust leak. it is coming from under the hood. i travel alot in sales, so in between appointments i took it to the pros(yeh right) of a few different places. tuffy said, " donut gasket, new spring bolts and a new cat since mine was sold to me without one. they said they cant work on it without one. another place said it is not that gasket at all. they said it was a leak at the turbo or exhaust manifold. Another guy said my newer muffler is blown out on the inside. It is a dynomax super turbo, i would certainly think it could withstand my cars power. I know that would not cause my exhaust leak. so any suggestions to keep my hands from being fried fromm feeling around for the leak would be helpful. I have the weekend to work on it now. thanks again in advance everyone.

oh some more info. it is not loud at idle, but when i accelerate, it sounds like a tractor. like a typical exhaust leak.

Sounds like your going to have to crawl under your car and drop the down pipe. Check your pipe to wastegate gasket. Also see if your wastegate might have somehow worked itself loose. If those are OK, then the real fun begins. Whatever you decide on as far as checking and repair, be extremely careful. Use good quality jack stands, and try to get someone to give you a hand.
