If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

Here is a link from jalopnik with a new Compass Spy pic.

Considering how easily you can see through the wheels, it looks to me like they are the SRT wheels and are much clsoer to the concept. Perhaps this is another Jeep to be shown at NY. Just my guess. Or perhaps just different wheels.
The guy who took the picture says it looks better in person. Seems to be the a common thought from those who have seen it in person. If the website is right and you can get it in 4x4 and not just awd and with the 2.4L and a 5 speed I would take it over the Caliber.

I've been wondering about the prospect of a Jeep Compass SRT4. Having read the SRT8 Cherokee reviews, I think this would be a real hoot. A little suspension and engine tuning, and it's time to embarass Mitsu Evos, Subaru STis, and the occasional Honda S2000 with a grocery getter. B)

my guess is though that the compass will weigh in a good bit more than an EVO... but i would definately be excited about an SRT-4 compass!! it would be nice to have some cheaper SRT products here at a Chrysler/Jeep dealership, instead of $45,000 ones
