P200 Postal Truck (box Van)

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

I was given a 1969 Post Office Parcel truck. It runs well, stops well, but the steering box bearings are bad. I cannot find replacement bearings for this steering box.The box is a TRW with the numbers 302AS000-307 6 on the parts tag. Can anyone help me?

Did you try the seals and sector shaft/ preload adjustments?

This is not an uncommon steering box.. used in Motorhomes, M300-M375, P200, P300 M880, W200, W300 with straight front axle forward steering.

There is a simple, "on vehicle" fix fro sloppy steering boxes, and leaking steering boxes....
