P0505 Code 1996Jeep Grand Cherokee P0505 code

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

P0505-Idle control system malfunction. Car will start, but when put into gear it dies almost immeatly. Replaced Idle air control valve. Car worked fine for 6 or so hours then the MIL started acting crazy, and the car started the same problems over again. 1996 Jeep Cherokee Country I-6,4.0L. The only other thing I can think of is it may be the Single Board Engine Controller (SBECii) Please Help, this is driving me crazy

check the wirings for open or short from pcm to the iac
