[font=Courier New] :D hey folks, I am a happy owner of a 2007 Dodge Caliber, there is only one thing that I do have issues with....it's the rest arm between driver and passenger. It moves forward and backwards, has anyone found a way to stop it??? If so please message me!

Doesn't the armrest click into place?

It didn't on the R/T I test drove earlier in the summer. It kept moving back and forth. I mentioned it to the salesman and that they should let DCX know this could be a problem.

The ease ability of moving the arm rest seems to be a common annoyance for many owners and the engineers are aware of the issue.

I didn’t pay much attention to arm rest myself but has anyone come up with any quick fixes themselves? I am not sure what the area around the armrest is like but could a piece(s) of Velcro be used to restrict the rate of movement without being visible?

IMO this might be a quick easy do-it-yourself way to fix this annoyance until an official fix is announced.

There is A TSB out on this which it calls for replacing the armrest portion only with a revised unit which has the detents in it. Contact your local dealership for details.
