Local Police Charger smalltown story

If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

So the local police department smashed one of their crown vic's and replaced it with a solid black (otherwise unmarked) Dodge Charger. The joke is that it has no lights... or sirens. So basically they cant pull anyone over. The other funny fact is that there are only 2 cars on patrol in my town at any one time unless there's a special situation.

So the moral is that if i see this car i can blow by it @ 15 over in my truck and they cant do a thing since they cant pull me over and the other car on patrol probably isnt anywhere near us.

oh and i forgot to mention that even though it doesnt say "POLICE" on the side... it is the only black charger locally and also it had spotlights so its dead obvious that its the police car despite the lack of markings.

Ive seen the cop in the daytona try to race people, beat them, then give them a ticket. Its B.S.!!!!!

Truth be known:

Being that several incidents have occurred with impersonators attempting to pull over motorists, in particular women: I am surprised that PD's are even still allowed to use any unmark as a traffic control vehicle. When I say 'unmark'; I am referring to a patrol vehicle with no markings whatsoever whereas a slicktop would be OK.

As for the incidents involving that Daytona Charger; a civilian using a video camera and sending said video tape to both the TV stations as well as the Internet could get that LEO into some hot water------------that is entrapment and is an insult to the cops out there who are good officers.
