Help!!!

I have a 2000 Jeep GC (4.0L) and this week I've started having troubles.

I am receiving 4 trouble codes and I'm not sure exactly what they mean and need advice about specific items I should check and the BEST way to get them corrected.

I have had no work performed on my jeep recently. One day I was driving and the dashboard light with the key in the circle with a line through it came on then my dash gauges when out. The truck stalled. I restarted the truck and everything was fine.

This happened a few more times, with and without the engine stalling, and has progressed to the Information Center not relaying data, power windows not working, a/c not working, and the dashboard gauges work some of the time.

Here is what I have found out about the trouble codes:

P0783 - 3/4 Shift Solenoid: No RPM Drop at Lockup.

P1685 - SKIM Invalid Key: The engine controller has received an invalid key from the SKIM.

P1686 - No SKIM BUS Messages Received: No CCD/J1850 messages from the Smart Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM).

P1687 - No MIC BUS Message: No CCD/J1850 messages received from the Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC) module.

What should I do next that won't break the bank?

All help is appreciated.

here are the code definitions from 03 pt powertrain manual:
P1687 no cluster bus message
P1686 no skim bus message received
P1681 no fuel level bus message
P0462 fuel level sending units volts too low

the first 3 codes are communications problems; you'll need a powertrain manual, wiring diagram and scanner to verify communications bet modules; obviously it's not for DIYers. but a lot of people got lucky by resetting the modules by pulling out the IOD fuse for at least 20 seconds (be sure ign is off when removing and reinstalling the IOD). a good cleaning of battery terminals sometimes help resolve the problem.

The post above seems to have solved my problem. I took out the JB15 fuse for about 1 minute then reinserted the fuse. This seems to have solved the problem.

I am a fan of this forum.

Thanks guys.

Ughhh
Pulling the JB15 fuse for a minute then replacing it worked for about a week. So, I am continuing to have the same problems.

Any suggestions before I take my jeep to a mechanic? I'm thinking that there might be a loose connector somewhere but I haven't been able to find any schematics so I can locate the modules that may be the problem.

Help!
