If you were a registered user, you would not be seeing this!

I've got a 91 ES. I'm having some weird problems.

First thing, the oil pressure gauge stopped working. I replaced the sending unit. The gauge still did not work. I took that sending unit back & exchanged it for another. The gauge still does not work. I checked all the wiring and connections in that area and found no problem. I also got a replacement gauge cluster that was good, and the oil pressure gauge does not work on it either. I have oil pressure or the engine would have blown months ago.

The right side headlight started working intermittently-sometimes wouldn't pop up. Then it stopped popping up or down altogether. Had the headlight motor serviced-it works prefectly when power is applied directly to it. Again, checked all the wiring & connections in that area & found no problem. The left side headlights works perfectly.

Also, the automatic door locking feature-now it oftens goes wild and clicks to lock rapidly, sometimes for most of the way to work. The actual door lock tab stays down in the locked position, but it keeps trying to lock it again and again.

Do you guys think any or all of these problems are related to the BCM?

I can tell you for sure that the door lock problem is the BCM. It can get wet, or have a loose connector, and cause that problem. Maybe the other two are related.
