My 09 srt8 is great fun to drive I can't imagine what something with twice as much hp would be like. I remember lamenting the death of the muscle cars in the late 70s and early 80s when the hp was dropping. Now my car in the garage would put my old Road Runner to shame and my car is slow. Exciting times to be a Mopar enthusiast!
My response, how can you OVERESTIMATE a company that produced the Hellcat with 707HP (VASTLY more than anyone expected) and the Viper ACR (track destroyer)?

It's so funny looking at all the people guess about this thing. I just saw someone post they'll be able to get a Hellcat for $40,000 once this thing comes out.. LOL!
I won't deny that the "Base Hellcat" sales will drop substantially. Hellcat buyers have been ponying-up (pun intended) to get the best of the best. Dodge providing a better best only ostracizes the 707HP. Imagine how disappointed a guy at the track will be when someone asks if it is only a 707HP Hellcat?
If you notice the the reflection in the guys mirror sunglasses the headlight signature is def Challenger. The beast biting the gas can and throwing it to the side and morphing suggest to me a "electric hybrid"
That was not just a gas can. That was RACE gas, in a RACE gas can. He threw it aside meaning that this car can run with full race cars, and it does not need the race gas, it needs "street gas".
It was a metaphor, implying that this is a street legal car that is as fast as full race cars.
Ooooh, I wonder how much the flares, and wheels would be. They'd look real nice on a 392-T/A, and Mike V. says there are plenty of T/A hoods stockpiled...
Hmmmm?
On a not completely different topic, I may have to have a conversation with my wife about my upcoming midlife crisis!
Lol! I was already thinking about how to bring this up to the wifey.
