My 2000 Durango cuts out at full acceleration, in drive or in neutral.
Its like i'm turning the key on and off once per second (but it does not actually shut off)
Light to medium acceleration ok.
No codes.

Cutting in and out could be a 'rev-limiter' keeping the engine speed within safe limits? You may need to perform this with a scan tool plugged in and someone watching real-time data to see what is causing this.
A failing crank sensor or worn distributor may have a difficult time at higher engine speeds.

It may be a worn fuelpump or clogged filter also.

Is this a high engine 'speed' cut-out or a high engine 'load' cut-out?
Does it happen over 4000 rpms even if you back off the throttle slightly?
Or can it occur from a stop if you mash the accelerator pedal?
There is little engine load when revving  in neutral and it probably isn't a valid test of anything.

Sorry for taking so long to reply,

If I "floor it" from a stop it does not happen.
If I floor it from around 35mph, not sure of the rpm range and above it happens.
Normally noticed when trying to accelerate on freeway, or when tring to pass someone.
If I floor it and then back off a little it stops happening.
