Auburn Hills is probably looking more tempting than ever to Fiat/Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne, if only because the U.S. government isn't harassing him. Reported in today's Il Sole 24 Oro, Elsa Fornero, the Italian Minister of Labor, announced she wishes to meet with Marchionne "as soon as possible" to discuss "in person his intentions." Fornero says she is primarily interested in Fiat's employment plans for Italy. Though it wasn't mentioned, the announcement comes on the heels of another Marchionne comment about the future location of the combined companies headquarters. In a discussion with reporters at the North American International Auto Show, Marchionne said the future company could be based in Europe, North America or Latin America. Fiat has a very strong presence in Brazil. The first time Marchionne mentioned the possibility that Fiat might leave Turin, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi demanded Marchionne attend a special Saturday meeting to..
