That is very impressive, considering they just went on sale in the Wrangler and haven't even made it to the trucks yet!

Congrats,  The downside to this story is we needed 1 Million 100 Thousand built in that time frame.  Still having engine shortages resulting in short shifts and cancelation of overtime

My new Charger with the Pentastar w/8 spd is a blast to drive. I had planned on getting the Hemi 'till i drove this car.
This engine sounds sweet when i tromp on it! And, i get over 30 mpgs highway.

I'd say that's one because of the other.

Some years back someone at Mopar said most people don't bother to look under the hood.  Essentially they didn't care whether it was DOHC or OHV.  Sometimes because it was a Hemi or a 383 but those were the ones that knew or cared.  That the company has sold a million vehicles with the V6 under the hood is almost as much about the interiors, the cars, etc as the Pentastar.  I'm not complaining.  I'd like to drive the 8 speed Charger, but more likely (because I'm different.. or just plain weird) I'm still waiting and more interested in the Tigershark.  I actually don't think my vehicle will carry more than my wife and I, and occasionally luggage for a weekend or my parents out to dinner.  I don't need or want a Durango (not that it's not one of the best new full-sized SUVs)
