Who is the design nut that designed the 392 Challenger with two right hand tags  ?? the passenger side leans to the front (which is correct) and the drivers side leans to the rear! I brought one of these cars and it alarms me for this to happen to a Dodge !

I think he's complaining about the emblems on the front fenders.  Both badges are like
392
HEMI
which will slope to the front on one side and two the rear on the other.

I just went out to my Stratus and looked at the DODGE badging on the doors. On both sides, the text is italicized and slants to the right. Checked a few images of the Stratus R/T with the emblems on the doors - again, the R/T slants to the right on both sides - as intended. Chrysler 200's side emblems seem to be that way, too.

If it was intended to be "per side", then I'd be alarmed, too. But not too alarmed; I'd just ask my dealer for the correct emblem and replace it.

But, having said that, I don't think it was intended to be "per side" in the first place.

It's not an uncommon thing to just use the same LH and RH badging.  In the last years of the Dakota, the V8's had the same badge both sides on the front fenders, leaning to the viewer's right seen from either side of the vehicle. My '05 Dakota has the same "4x4" callout both sides, leaning to viewer's right (forward on the RH side, rearward on the LH side.)

I worked at Bobcat a few years ago, and I remember that one visual change for the "K-series" loaders (2006-) was to use the same cat head logo on both sides of the lift arm. Before that the cat head always faced forward (and always facing to the right on the tailgate). IIRC the old left side, left-facing cat head was considered a dilution of the brand identity.

No one made a "mistake". The trim is "as designed" and installed the way it is SUPPOSED to display. You may not like it, but there was no "mistake" on Chrysler's part.

Ha ha. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

(I recall seeing a list on a bug reporting system somewhere which included "working as programmed but not as desired.")

Yup. An undocumented feature.
