nice car for sure- anybody know what that thing on top on the engine is? not original.........

Are you referring to the vapor seperator (i.e. the canister looking thing)?  That is original for that era of vehicle and it is meant to prevent vapor lock.  This car is a carb setup.  We had one in our family that was identical, right down to the color.

Frankly, these cars were a lot more complicated than they needed to be, primarly because of emissions components.

Unless this is going in a museum, the asking price is insane.  A Horizon in that condition should sell for 1/2 of what he is asking and that is only because of the very low mileage.  A lot of these turned over for under $1000.

I can honestly say that even at the low miles shown, this car will still require quite a bit of attention.
