OK, got the brake light issue fixed, 1 new switch and 1 new lamp - no problem.

Now on to the lessor issue of the cornering lamps.  At least, I assume those are cornering lamps next to the 'aero' headlights...neither of them work, and the right one is damp inside.  A quick pre-operative inspection leads me to believe it's going to not be a quickie job.

After driving my TC at night, I really appreciate the light thrown by cornering lights, beside the fact that I'm one of those 'if it's there - it should work' kinda guys.

If it requires removing the headlights, that's OK as I want to pull them off to polish anyway, although I had intended to perform that job in the warmth of spring...

It's not hard at all. Just remove the 4 bolts holding the headlight assembly in. Pull the entire assembly forward and then unscrew the two screws holding the corner lamp in place. When reinstalling just tighten the two lamp screws lightly. It seems to lessen the tendency for these to crack. Seal up any breaks the lens with clear RTV after you dry it out. These aren't true cornering lights as they don't only illuminate when the turn signals are in use. These only seem to serve a cosmetic purpose.
