I am trying to rebuild the front end in my 1989 Chrysler New Yorker Landau. I can not find lower control arm bushings for this car that will fit the arms.  The car is all stock and the arms are the originals. I am surprised the no matter which parts store or manufacture I go though that no ones parts fit. They can't all be wrong can they!!! Has  any of you 89 to 93 Dynasty or New Yorker owers  ran into this problem? If so where did you find the right bushings? :runaway: :frusty:

Rockauto.com has them listed. Check them out. There's a picture, too. Just follow the easy file system for brand name, year, model, engine, under suspension.

Not to slam RA but the aftermarket listings are not always right or accurate. chrysler made lots of running changes especially on 89/90 model year FWD cars as they tried to optimize and consolidate several different designs. aftermarket isnt always there.

http://polybushings....parfwdaarm.html  the bottom most part listing on that page is for the cast control arms used on all 91 M:Y and newer k based cars. Those are the only cast control arms I'm aware of.

You might try the dealer if all else fails.

I emailed Polybushing.com last night. The 89 and 90 New Yorker used cast arms that have a smaller openning for the rear bushing. These arms have the casting number 4322830R and 43228312L. This means I have to use 91 arms or cut down the rear bushing for both arms to 42 mm to fit.
