The owners of the UK JeepClub have closed down issuing the following statement :

"
A year ago we came up with a plan to relaunch JeepClub and bring it back to the way it was at the end of the last century. JeepClub grew considerably as a result of our changes, with more than 1,200 people choosing to join us. In this respect, the return to free-to-join membership was a success.

However, faced with a lack of willing volunteers to help keep the community running, and a scarcity of commercial bodies willing to help support the community financially, we have been forced to take the difficult decision to close JeepClub permanently.

We would like to thank all of you for taking the time to be part of JeepClub, and to our sponsors Taubenreuther, JeepWranglerForSale.co.uk, Horsham Car Centre and Adrian Flux for their support. We hope that it was enjoyable while it lasted.

Alex & Vince"

It's a real shame and has left a massive gap in the UK Jeep community !

I was was a moderator on the club forum and also tried to organise some Jeep Club local events!

I have moved on to another forum http://www.4x4-explorers.co.uk/ as a result!

Sad to see it go!

Terrible news, sad to hear that no volunteers came forward too.
