I'm ready to roll Plum Crazy. Word is the factory is building PCP Challengers in Feburary any idea when the orders can be placed?

If they are building them in February, and they haven't said for sure yet that they are, then they should be open for ordering for Janurary allocation with a small possibility of December allocation as well.

Ontario Street Car Dot Com is confirming a post from News and Rumors of Feb 18th. Is having the dealer check once a week to much? I don't want to miss ordering one.

The military exchange sales rep got this answer from the home office in New York.

 

The latest info I have is that this may be offered around mid-February.
This date is subject to change and there is no guaranty that this color will
be offered at all. In the past they have offered this on the R/T Classic
model but until firm specs are released I have no info on which particular
models this will be made available.

As a small update John, I still hear that Plum Crazy is coming this year to both the Challenger and the Charger, check back around summer from what i hear.

According to Donlen, production on the Challengers/Chargers for Plum Crazy is still showing as to begin on Feb. 18th.  Does anyone know if that date is accurate?  And if so, when would they normally be opening up for orders?  (this is for 2013 MY).  It's only a month away...when would it normally show up on the configurator at the dealership?

They should have been open right now if they were going to start producing them then, but they could do it with the February allocation I assume, which would be first week of Feb.  but that is cutting it close.

I'm surprised Donlen hasn't been mentioned much. Search the AllPar forums, I think it comes up three other times outside this thread. They are some kind of fleet management solutions company. They list White Hood to Fender Stripe (M29) - 02/04/13 beginning for Challenger. That was recently announced. They list what JRS200x says above still with 2/18/13 for the start date. Rumors around the LX forum community talk about "Hellcat" finishing the year with HEMI Orange.

They list:

High Performance Red Clear Coat (PR3) - 05/20/13

Chicago a big important show with Challenger history is less than two weeks away. Perhaps Chrysler wants to make a splash with PCP news there?

Why and how does Dolen get this information? Do you dealer guys used them in anyway for fleet stuff?
