The left does not know what the right is doing and neither individually seem to care what they are doing or not doing anyway.
But one or the other seem to sometimes reach the "park" position.
As stupid as this sounds they act like they are linked to the motor with some sort of "friction" clutch.
The factory manual is of little help with this particular issue.
I've dealt with wiper motor transmissions that lose a nylon tooth or several but this???
Rather than put me afoot for several days while the local mechanic takes something apart he has no hope of repairing or finding replacement parts for, maybe I can ask for advice and if it is hopeless, I'll get another wiper assembly from north of the border and menwhile carry a squeegee. Time to start looking for some RainX to tide me over I guess.
