is it me or does the ducktail spoiler look like its painted instead of the flat black we've seen in the sneak peak shots?

It's a 2009 R/T, they will have a bodycolor spoiler...

No word... but "370", while it may be right or wrong, is just a rumor/guess at this point although I am sure it's going to end up being pretty close.

370 was the rumor for the Ram. Unclear whether the Challenger will get the same tune or something a little more aggressive.

The fuselage styling brings tears to my eyes! It reminds me of my now deceased Plymouth Satellite custom. The scary thing is the Custom was a 4 door and a 117 wheelbase and the Challenger is a two door that has a 116 inch wheelbase.

Looks great.

380HP/404 lb-ft of torque in the new Ram
my guess is that's ballpark for the Chally as well depending on how restrictive the packaging is on airflow

That side shot is begging for some striping. :) Black, preferably.

Isn't the Challenger in the photo a 6 cylinder? Notice the absence of dual exhausts, cut-outs in the valence and racing gas cap.

I can't tell whether it's got dual exhausts or not in that pic. I thought the body-color spoiler made it an R/T, though.

It's not out of the question (6cyl), but I think the gascap is on the driver side.

Only thing is...taillights look a bit 'cheap'. But then again, if it really bothers you, you can always throw in some LEDs. I guess I'm just nitpicking here...but boy, that is one gorgeous automobile.

On another site, someone color-adusted the autoblog photo. It definitely does not have dual exhausts, a rear valence or a racing gas cap. It has to be a V-6. See:

agreed -- the side view of the camo'd one looks like a 2-door charger. Ug.ly.

So did I, but now I'm stumped. I know the R/T is spec'd for the b-c spoiler, and base models w/o spoiler, maybe something has changed (spoiler added to base, but that would seem unlikely) or it's just an oddly equipped mule.

With the probable result of being flamed to a crisp and banned for life....

The more I see of the new Challenger the less I like it.

It seems to be changing from the original concept, each time I see a new photo of it.

Look too fat and bulky.

I actually prefer the Charger...which IS fat and bulky and doesnt pretend to be sleek and ponylike.
