Engines

The Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan come with the 3.3 liter V6 or the 3.8 liter V6. The Dodge Caravan short wheelbase model comes with the 2.4 liter four-cylinder as its base engine.

Both V6 engines are LEV (low emission) certified for all 50 states.

Power for the 3.3 is 180 hp (134 kW) @ 5200 rpm (54.5 bhp/liter) with 19/26 mpg (EPA estimates, regular gas).

Power for the 3.8 is 215 hp (160 kW) @ 5000 rpm (56.6 bhp/liter) with 245 lb.-ft. (332 Nm) @ 4000 rpm and 18/25 mpg (EPA estimates, regular gas).

Power for the 2.4 remains at 150 (112 kW) @ 5200 rpm, 167 lb-ft (226 Nm) (61.8 hp/liter) with 21 mpg city, 27 mpg highway.

Chrysler and Dodge vans are made in St. Louis - short wheelbase Dodge vans in Brampton.
