For a limited time, Challenger SRT and Challenger R/T Classic models can now be ordered with Plum Crazy paint (PHG). Black Dual Wide Side Stripes are standard, or customers can choose the optional NEW White Dual Wide Side Strip (sales code MEH). Additionally, the White Dual Wide Side Stripe is also available on Brilliant Black painted R/T Classic Models. For the interior, Plum Crazy R/T models will have Plum stitching on the seats while SRT models will have a Plum seat stripe. MSRP Pricing for the Plum Crazy option on the R/T models is $225, and $500 on the SRT models.
The previous Challenger “high impact” color, Detonator Yellow, starts production on November 16th but ordering is now closed. B-5 Blue is also out for the model year.
Another new Challenger option, for R/T manual transmission models, is the Super Track Pack. This package features full-Off ESP mode, Goodyear 245/45ZR20 BSW performance tires, High-Performance Suspension with Load Leveling and Height Control, Performance Steering with variable displacement, and Anti-Lock 4-Wheel HD Disc Brakes. MSRP for the Super Track Pack is $400.
In other news, ordering restrictions on the 4.0 liter V6 minivans – the ones that get the best mileage of any minivan in North America – have been lifted. In addition, dealers can order the 2010 Caliber, which will (possibly with late availability) have an optional automatic temperature control.
The trailer brake control on Ram 1500 temporarily unavailable due to inability to get the parts.
