Tomahawk featured in kids’ book

by David Zatz on

Parachute Publishing uses Allpar’s photograph of the Dodge Tomahawk in their new book, Things That Go: Motorcycles. The $5.98 book ($5.38 at bn.com) gives the Tomahawk a large spot on the last page; the publishers did skilled work on the original photograph, taken in New Jersey’s Liberty State Park, enhancing it considerably. The book has numerous other well-taken or well-enhanced motorcycle photos. (The photo below is not the one used in the book.)

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades. He has been quoted by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Detroit News, and USA Today. Before making Allpar a full-time career, he was a consultant in organizational psychology. You can reach him by using our contact form (much preferred) or by calling (313) 766-2304
