Dart was best-selling all-new car of 2012

Dodge-Dart-Red-Web

Despite all the concerns about supplies, lack of automatic transmissions and general criticisms of the launch, the new Dodge Dart can claim an important December achievement: It was the best-selling of any of the all-new passenger cars introduced in 2012.

For the calendar year, the Dart beat every new vehicle, car or truck, except the Mazda CX-5, which debuted earlier than the Dart. Total year statistics are of lesser importance as new vehicles are introduced throughout the year, which has a significant impact on the volume they can accumulate.
