Chernoby bumped up, Nigro takes over development

by David Zatz on

Mark Chernoby, Chrysler’s head of product development, has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer [for] Product Development. His place as head of North American product development will be John Nigro, who has worked his way up from an entry engineering role in 1984.

Mr. Nigro had previously been promoted to Vice President of Systems and Component Engineering, in April 2013. He will now have responsibility for all systems and component engineering, advance vehicle development, architecture, testing, and product technical planning. As part of the move, Mr. Nigro will join the NAFTA Leadership Team, which reports directly to the Chrysler CEO.
