Hurst returns to Chrysler

Hurst, which made its reputation with its muscle car components, is returning to work with Chrysler for the first time in decades with the 2009 Hurst Hemi Challenger. This vehicle, based on the SRT8, will be boosted to at least 500 horsepower via a supercharger, and will be available in four stages of performance trim; it will be sold at participating Dodge dealers. Special five-spoke alloy wheels and a pistol grip shifter will be included.  The car will make its debut at the November SEMA show, and be produced in “early 2009.”
