Chrysler sells more cars with automated manual transmissions – outside North America
Chrysler LLC is expanding the number of vehicles equipped with its new fuel-saving dual-clutch transmission in markets outside North America. In addition to the Dodge Journey, the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring will now be available with the state-of-the-art transmission when ordered with diesel engines. The transmission cuts fuel usage by 6%, compared to a four-speed hydraulic transmission.
