Dodge Ram Lone Star debuts

Dodge has introduced the Lone Star Edition Dodge Ram 1500, a Texas-exclusive model honoring Dodge’s largest single truck market. The modified Ram Crew Cab 1500 SLT model includes the RamBox, 390 horsepower Hemi, a lighting group, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, overhead console, and Lone Star badging. The package is $1,500 above the normal cost of a Ram 1500 Hemi, a savings of $750 over getting the items separately (other than the exclusive Lone Star badging).
The 2009 Lone Star Edition Dodge Ram is built at the St. Louis North Assembly Plant in Fenton, Mo., and the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Warren, Mich.
