Ram comes with $1,000 rebate; RamBox is $1,895

Dodge announced that the Dodge Ram 1500, possibly the hottest pickup to be released since the 1993 Ram, will come with the usual rebates – $1,000 on crew and quad cabs, $500 on regular cabs. The rebates come after sticker-price discounting, as a 2009 Ram already costs around $1,000 less than a similar 2008 model, and has more standard features (such as four wheel antilock brakes, electronic stability control, and side curtain airbags on the SLT model).
Dodge also set the price on the RamBox locking storage system at $1,895, and expects roughly 1/5 of new customers to order it.
