Chrysler cuts production to match demand October 23rd, 2008 by DaveAdmin
Chrysler LLC announced that it would close the Newark, Delaware, assembly plant earlier than planned, and cut one of the two shifts at Toledo North. The Newark plant makes the Durango and Aspen, and the Toledo North plant makes the Liberty and Nitro. Inventories of all four vehicles are currently very high. Both closings will take effect on December 31, and together will affect 1,825 jobs. |
