Chrysler offers employee discount to Wal-Mart workers

Beginning Novermber first, Wal-Mart employees in the United States will be able to get special savings on Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. Chrysler is offering employee pricing to the 1.4 million people who work for the world’s largest retailer. The savings are typically equal to a discount of 8-14 percent of the suggested retail price or 4-6 percent off the dealer invoice price.

Unlike General Motors, which offered employee pricing to all retail customers from the last two weeks of August until the end of September, Chrysler has extended such discounts to specific groups, including military personnel, employees of Tier 1 suppliers and members of AARP.
