Ad agency layoffs follow Chrysler’s spending cuts

Detroit News wrote that BBDO North America, Chrysler’s ad agency, is laying off the equivalent of 145 full- and part-time positions from their Detroit-area office, a 22% reduction. 509 positions will remain at the agency, which needed to make the cuts after Chrysler slashed spending by 30%. This follows smaller cutbacks in January.
