Retiring VP sparks service reorganization

After 23 years of service, Don Goodwin, Vice President—Global Service, announced his intention to retire at the end of November. He had spent 21 years in product development. With his departure, Chrysler announced a “realignment” of the Service and Parts organization; pending that, numerous executives will report to Executive Vice President Simon Boag, who is also President of Mopar, Global Service and Parts. These include James Sassorossi, Director of Customer Relations and Service Retention; a senior manager of warranty administration (the position is currently empty); Samuel Yocca, Senior Manager of Service Program Management; and Albert Motta, Director of Service Technical Operations.
