Chinese company to show first plug-in hybrid January 10th, 2009 by DaveAdmin
Chinese manufacturer BYD will introduce the first production plug-in hybrid-electric car to the world at 11 am on January 12 at the Detroit Auto Show. The company will also show an electric crossover. The company uses lithium-iron (rather than lithium-ion) batteries. Allpar will have limited coverage of the Detroit Auto Show on Sunday and Monday.
