Dodge Challenger R/T Classic debuts at auto show

A special edition Challenger R/T Classic was displayed for the first time at the Detroit auto show in January 2009. To be sold in Hemi Orange, TorRed, and (later) B5 Blue and other colors, the R/T Classic has the original Challenger script on the sides of the front fenders instead of on the grille; a functional hood scoop; and racing stripes. The engine will be boosted to 376 horsepower for the manual transmission and 372 for the automatic. (Challenger details)
