Dodge Ram named International Truck of the Year

The new Dodge Ram 1500 took home the honors as International Truck of the Year. Along with the Nissan GT-R, which won the International Car of the Year Award, the Ram was praised for “excellence of design” and ‘technological superiority.”
This latest award marked Dodge’s sixth ICOTY victory.
Scott Kunselman, VP Jeep/Truck Product Team, accepted the award on behalf of Dodge.
The winners were selected by 16 nationally known automotive journalists and editors and votes were tallied by J.D. Power and Associates.
The award ceremonies were held at black-tie dinner at the MGM Grand Detroit. More than 500 industry leaders, VIPs, and members of the media were on hand to celebrate the night’s winners.
