Fidanza releases lightweight SRT4 flywheel

For drivers of the “best bang for the buck” Neon SRT4 who want a little speed boost after all these years, Fidanza has developed a lightweight aluminum flywheel for the Neon SRT-4. The new part (#194541)  allows for quicker spooling of the turbo on the turbocharged engine, and the company claims increased engine life from reduced stress.

Made from machined 6061 T6 aluminum, the Fidanza SRT-4 aluminum flywheel features a “warp-proof” 1050 steel friction surface, CNC machined fastener holes and chamfers, and a high carbon, alloy steel surface finish.  The flywheel, which is finished with a heat-treated ring gear and military grade fasteners, can be paired with just about any clutch disc material available. It is fully SFI-approved.
