Findanza issues Jeep flywheels

Fidanza VP Bob Scheid reported that Fidanza now has a hefty line of durable steel flywheels for popular Jeep models. Mr. Scheid said that the flywheels, made from 1045 forged steel, “…can withstand heat and have a high tensile strength, so they’re incredibly strong and dependable to survive the rigors and extreme driving conditions Jeep owners subject their vehicles to.”

Fidanza’s steel flywheels feature a serviceable 1045 steel insert for the clutch to ride on.  The insert is attached with aerospace fasteners and can be paired with numerous clutch disc materials from organic to Kevlar® and even sintered iron.  They are finished with a heat-treated ring gear. Each steel flywheel weighs approximately 50% more than its original equipment counterpart, so there is a performance penalty that goes along with the heightened durability. Models covered include:

● 1991-2000 Cherokee 2.5L (#256251)

● 1991-2001 Cherokee 4.0L (#256401)

● 1991-1992 Comanche 2.5L (#256251)

● 1991-1992 Comanche 4.0L (#256401)

● 1993-1994 4.0L Grand Cherokee 4.0L (#256401)

● 1991-2002 Wrangler 2.5L (#256251)

● 1991-2004 Wrangler 4.0L (#256401)
