Dates set for 30th Annual Moparfest

Rain or shine, Moparfest 2009 will be held August 15 and 16 at the New Hamburg Fairgrounds in New Hamburg, Ontario. Moparfest, which celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year, is Canada’s largest all-Mopar event and a major contributor to local charities and community organizations. Since 1988, Moparfest has donated more than $1.7 million to worthy causes.

Last year, 20,000 attendees enjoyed viewing the almost 1,600 Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, AMC and Jeep light vehicles on display, shopping at the 200+ participating vendors and a variety of activities.

This year promises more fun, including three classic Mopars, a 1966 Chrysler New Yorker, a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S and a 1973 Dodge Charger, that will be given away during the show.

Admission for spectators is $10 per day; children under 12 are free. Registration fee for Participants is $35.00 and includes two-day admission for two people. The first 1.000 participants will receive a special plaque on the first day of the show.
