Dodge Ram grabs 20 percent of full-size pickup sales in February
One in five full-size pickups sold last month was a Dodge Ram, which outperformed all its competitors by retaining the highest percentage of it February 2008 numbers. The Ram’s 20 percent share was its best showing in five years as the segment became crowded with additional entries from Ford and GM and new trucks from Toyota and Nissan.
The 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 continued its winning streak as it beat the Ford F-Series pickup by winning the New England Motor Press Association’s (NEMPA) 2009 Winter Vehicle Award as Best-In-Class Pickup. This is the thirteenth award the new Ram has won since its introduction.
